Hi, my name is Justin and I am excited to be starting this digital storytelling journey with all of you. I’m a senior computer science major.
In my free time I like to read romance novels and make beats. My first post on Soundcloud is actually one of the beats I produced. It’s still unfinished but I like how calm and soothing it is, so I decided it would be a good first edition to my page.
I came up with this album cover idea that I posted on Flickr one day while I was sitting in my car. I just took a selfie and edited it to this dark and gloomy picture that you see above. I wasn’t sure how the final product would turn out because the original photo is very different from it, but overall I think it came out pretty good. I really like the contrast between the orange and the blue.
I also posted a song I made on YouTube as my first upload because, honestly, I didn’t have any other videos to post. This song is called after tomorrow never comes because it comes after a song called “tomorrow never comes” in a playlist that I made. My favorite part of it is the ending because it has the most going on. In my opinion this song is kind of boring, but I hope to continue working on music and progressively get better in the future.
